The VLA Warriors Volleyball family is getting ready for an unforgettable day of volleyball, food, family, competition and community — and YOU are invited!
On Saturday, August 22, 2026, from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM, the VLA Warriors will take over Victory Charter School Gymnasium in Kissimmee, Florida for our VLA Warriors Scrimmage & Family Fundraising Day.

ENTRANCE IS COMPLETELY FREE!
There is no admission fee to come watch, cheer, play and spend the day with the Warriors. Instead, we simply hope our families, friends and Central Florida volleyball community will support the team by purchasing food, buying raffle tickets or making a donation.
Every little bit helps us continue doing what we love — playing volleyball, developing athletes and building something special together.

At the center of the day will be what brought all of us together in the first place:

Come watch the VLA Warriors compete in a live, competitive scrimmage as our athletes continue preparing for the upcoming Volleyball League of America season.
This isn't just another practice.
It's an opportunity for our families, friends, supporters and volleyball community to experience the Warriors up close and see the work these athletes have been putting in behind the scenes.

This isn't a day where families have to sit in the bleachers and watch everyone else have fun.
You're playing too!
We've created activities that allow parents, friends, family members, supporters and athletes to get involved.
Volleyball Tic Tac Toe
This isn't your normal Tic Tac Toe!
Our setters will set the hitters, and teams will attempt to attack the ball into specific target areas on the court. Hit your target and your team earns that square.
The goal?
Three in a row — TIC TAC TOE!
It's volleyball strategy, accuracy and a little friendly competition all rolled into one.
Beat a Warrior: Short Court
Think you can hang with a Warrior?
Here's your chance!
Friends and family will have an opportunity to take on Warriors athletes in a fast-paced Short Court Volleyball Challenge.
The court may be smaller, but don't expect the competition to be!
Grab your friends, challenge a Warrior and see who comes out on top.
Parents vs. Warriors
Parents — we're calling you out!
The Warriors spend plenty of time training and competing, but now we're putting the parents on the court too.
Our Parents vs. Warriors Match will be a fun competition filled with volleyball, laughs, bragging rights and probably a little trash talking.
Who knows?
Maybe we'll discover where some of our Warriors actually got their volleyball skills.
Hot Potato Volleyball
Circle up and KEEP THAT VOLLEYBALL OFF THE FLOOR!
Hot Potato Volleyball is all about working together to keep the ball alive.
Pass it. Set it. Save it.
Just don't be the person responsible for letting it hit the floor!
This is an easy, fun activity for different ages and skill levels and a great way for everyone to get involved.
MEET THE WARRIORS IN THE FAN ZONE
Volleyball brings people together, and we want everyone who supports this team to actually get to know the people behind it.
Stop by the Warriors Fan Zone throughout the day to meet players, take pictures with your favorite Warriors and capture memories with your family and friends.

DANCE FITNESS WITH KAI & DAVID
We're switching things up during the day with not one, but TWO Dance Fitness sessions!
Led by Kai and David, these high-energy classes are about moving, laughing, sweating and having FUN.
You don't need to be a dancer.
You don't need to be a volleyball player.
You just need to show up ready to move!
Parents, athletes, friends and family are all welcome to jump in.

Delicious Hawaiian-style pork served over rice — hearty, flavorful and perfect after a few rounds of volleyball.

Tender pulled pork piled onto a sandwich for an easy game-day meal.

WHY ARE THE VLA WARRIORS FUNDRAISING?
Because building a competitive volleyball program takes a village.
The Warriors began with a group of friends who simply loved volleyball and wanted an opportunity to compete together.
Then something happened.
It grew.
More athletes came.
More friendships formed.
Practices became more serious.
Competition became stronger.
And what started as friends playing volleyball began developing into something much bigger.
Today, we're continuing to build the VLA Warriors as a competitive men's volleyball program while creating opportunities for athletes to train, compete and continue playing the sport they love.
Fundraising helps us offset the real costs that come with building a competitive volleyball team, including:
Travel • Tournament Entry Fees • Uniforms • Equipment • Training • Facilities • Court Time • Team Development
But this fundraiser represents something even bigger than covering expenses.
It allows the people who support our athletes to become part of the journey.
Every plate purchased helps.
Every raffle ticket helps.
Every donation helps.
Every person sitting in the stands cheering helps.
And sometimes, simply showing up and letting these athletes know their community believes in them means more than people realize.
BUILDING VOLLEYBALL IN CENTRAL FLORIDA
Central Florida has an incredible volleyball community, and we want to continue contributing to its growth.
From Orlando volleyball and Kissimmee volleyball to competitive men's volleyball throughout Florida, there are talented athletes who want opportunities to continue competing beyond high school and college.
The Warriors want to help create that pathway.
We want younger volleyball players to walk into the gym, see these athletes competing and think:
“I can keep playing too.”
We want families to experience volleyball together.
We want athletes to have something to work toward.
And we want to build a program our community can genuinely be proud to support.
That's what Together We Rise means to us.
One player doesn't build a team.
One coach doesn't build a program.
