VLA Warriors Volleyball: More Than a Team. A Movement Built on Purpose, Family, and Intentional Growth.

There are teams that simply play volleyball.

Then there are teams that create a legacy.

The VLA Warriors Volleyball Club was never created to be just another name on a tournament bracket. It was created to build something that would outlast every season, every match, and every championship. It was created to bring together athletes who believe that greatness is earned through character, consistency, and community.

The Warriors began with something incredibly simple—a small group of friends who loved volleyball.

Kai Kamai, JP Rivera, Maikol, Marley, Jake, Victor, and Jean-Paul spent countless hours in the gym, challenging one another, learning from one another, and dreaming about what volleyball in Central Florida could become. There were no grand announcements. No massive organization. Just experienced athletes committed to helping each other become better every single day.

What happened next surprised everyone.

Those friends invited other friends.

Those players invited teammates.

Soon, athletes from different clubs, backgrounds, cities, and playing styles came together because they wanted to be part of something that felt different.

The culture came first.

The family came first.

The purpose came first.

Today, what started as one group of friends has grown into three advanced Warriors teams, all preparing for the Volleyball League of America (VLA) 2026–2027 season. Every practice represents another opportunity to grow. Every workout is another chance to become stronger. Every tournament is another chapter in a story that is only just beginning.

But the Warriors are about far more than volleyball.

We believe championships are built long before the first whistle.

They are built through discipline when nobody is watching.

They are built through teammates who stay after practice to help one another improve.

They are built through respect, humility, accountability, and the willingness to choose the harder path because it produces stronger people.

That is what makes someone a Warrior.

We don't expect perfection.

We expect effort.

We don't expect everyone to be the most talented athlete in the gym.

We expect everyone to become the best teammate they can be.

Our mission reaches beyond the court. We are building an organization where athletes continue developing after high school, where experienced players mentor the next generation, where leadership is practiced every day, and where volleyball becomes a platform for creating lifelong friendships and unforgettable memories.

Every drill has intention.

Every conversation has purpose.

Every player matters.

That same mindset inspired the creation of INTENT, the official Warriors apparel brand. The name represents the philosophy that defines everything we do. Even the upside-down "T" in our logo serves as a reminder that success doesn't always look conventional. Sometimes the path is different. Sometimes it feels uncomfortable. But if we stay intentional and finish what we start, we become stronger because of it.

Being a Warrior isn't about fitting in.

It's about standing for something.

As our family continues to grow, so does our vision.

We're developing elite athletes.

We're creating educational resources through the Warriors Volleyball Academy.

We're sharing stories through our "Beyond the Net" podcast.

We're expanding opportunities for players to compete at the highest levels of domestic volleyball.

We're building relationships with local businesses, community leaders, and sponsors who believe sports can change lives.

Most importantly, we're creating a place where people belong.
